SHOROC REGIONAL EMPLOYMENT STUDY Hill PDA was commissioned by the Shore Organisation of Regional Councils (SHOROC) to undertake a study of employment in the SHOROC Region. The study was commissioned to assist in the refinement of the North East and Inner North Subregional Strategies and in the preparation of a Regional Economic Development Strategy. |

EMPLOYMENT PROSPECTS FOR SOUTH WEST SYDNEY The Hill PDA study of the Macarthur Region in South West Sydney challenged the view of developing a "two" Sydney phenomenon by identifying how the South West could be a dynamic urban centre in its own terms. The study achieved this objective by looking at the employment prospects for Sydney's South West compared to the NSW Department of Planning targets and making recommendations to enhance its share of job creation to both high job creation and containment. |

AUBURN EMPLOYMENT LANDS STUDY Hill PDA was commissioned by Auburn Council to undertake a review of employment lands within the Auburn Local Government Area (LGA). The study focused on employment lands that were zoned by the Auburn Local Environment Plan (LEP) 2000 as industrial lands from zone 4(a) General Industrial through to 4(e) Homebush Bay Enterprise Corridor Zones. |

BAULKHAM HILLS EMPLOYMENT LANDS DEMAND ANALYSIS Baulkham Hills Council commissioned Hill PDA to prepare an employment lands study for Baulkham Hills LGA. The study also provided guidance and direction for the formulation of Employment Lands for Baulkham Hills Shire. The focus of this study was all employment lands including lands zoned 4(b) Light Industry in the LGA and 10 (a) Business Park as well as land designated as 3(b) Business within town centres relating to commercial office uses. |

MAITLAND CENTRES STRATEGY Hill PDA was commissioned by Maitland City Council to prepare a strategy for centres and employment generating lands within the Maitland LGA. The strategy provided strategic direction for existing and future planned commercial and employment land uses. The strategy will also assist in the review of the Maitland Urban Settlement Strategy and guide the preparation of the Maitland Local Environmental Plan 2011. |
