Hill PDA's experience in economic & social impact includes the following projects: 

CBD METRO

A new authority known as Sydney Metro was established in 2009 to plan, design, construct and manage the long-term private operator of a metro rail network for Sydney

Hill PDA worked in conjunction with Sinclair Knight Merz (SKM) and Manidis Roberts to prepare the Economic and Social Impact Assessments for the project.

Hill PDA's research formed part of the Environmental Assessment and Project Application that was submitted to the Department of Planning and exhibited over 2009 and 2010.

 


WEST METRO

Hill PDA was commissioned by Sydney Metro to undertake this specialist study. The study assessed the likely socio-economic impacts of the proposed Metro Stage 2.

In accordance with the Director-General's Requirements, this study was broken down into three components being: the Macroeconomic, the Microeconomic & the Social Impacts.

 


LITHGOW CULTURAL PRECINCT STUDY

The first step towards developing a Cultural Precinct in Lithgow is embodied in the Lithgow Cultural Precinct Study prepared by Artscape and Hill PDA. The Study was developed to appraise the current functioning of the key sites and venues within the study area and examine how a viable Cultural Precinct may be most effectively supported.

 


CALLAN PARK ECONOMIC & SOCIAL IMPACT ASSESSMENT

Hill PDA was commissioned by the Sydney Harbour Foreshore Authority (SHFA) to undertake a Social and Economic Impact Assessment of the proposed Land Use Plan for Callan Park. Callan Park is located within the Local Government Area (LGA) of Leichhardt and is a State significant community, heritage, landscape and cultural asset.
