Project Name          Macquarie Centre SRA v AMP Valuation Case
Prepared For           Australian Government Solicitor
Project Date            December 2005

Project Details

This was a case regarding compensation for the compulsory acquisition of land at Macquarie Centre for the train station entrances. Adrian Hack, Principal of Hill PDA, prepared a number of statements and appeared as an expert witness for State Government in the court hearing.

Mr Hack was able to demonstrate to the court that the betterment from the public project to the shopping centre clearly outweighed the costs of land acquisition and controlled parking in the shopping centre car park. The judgement provided a very successful result for the NSW State Government.
